A rich array of various fruity aromas are everpresent on the nose including candied orange zest, figs, dates, prunes, and quince paste. Further exploration will reveal gingerbread notes seducing you with its elegance. The strong dried and confit aromas of the nose are intensified on the palate and accompanied by the sweet note of tonka bean. This rhum is characterized by extreme depth and volume throughout and the finish is long and enveloping. 43% ABV
Ron Zacapa No. 23
Guatemala
Soft, sweet start with aromas of caramel, vanilla, cacao and butterscotch. Continued by sherried notes of caramelized roasted brazil nuts and toasted hazelnut, rounded out by toffee, banana and dried pineapple. Complex, generous and full-bodied. Starting with a depth of dried fruit and apricot, building to savory oak, nutmeg, leather and tobacco with notes of coffee and vanilla, balanced with a spicy touch of cinnamon and ginger. Intricate with honeyed butterscotch, spiced oak and dried fruit. 40% ABV
St. Nicolas Abbey 10 Year
Barbados
Clear golden amber. Spicy, with cinnamon, fresh pine needles, fudge, vanilla, and a strong whiff of tobacco. Medium bodied with dried currants, peaches, zesty orange, spice and cinnamon. 40% ABV
